Now Hiring – Experienced Construction Project Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on construction experience, able to juggle tasks between multiple projects, create project budgets and schedules, ability to read and analyze project drawings, notes, specifications and sketches and work within a team environment. Multi-family and/or mixed-use experience preferred, but not mandatory. You’ll work remotely on a job site most of the time.

Your daily tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Prepare scope documentation for subcontracts
  • Perform subcontractor buy-outs during contract award phase
  • Write subcontracts for all scopes of work
  • Read and write RFI’s to Architects and Engineers
  • Review submittals for accuracy before submitting to design team
  • Analyze drawing changes and communicate changes to the construction team
  • Create and update master schedule in MS Project
  • Analyze and track subcontractor change orders
  • Prepare project budgets during bid time and for final contracts
  • Prepare and run job cost and cost to complete reports
  • Organize and close out projects; this includes paperwork and financials
  • Correspond with all project team members (Client, Architect, Engineer, internal team, subcontractors, etc.)

Your daily tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Project
  • Experience with Project Management Software (Procore, Timberline, Prolog, etc.) a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and run multiple projects at a time
  • Problem-solving skills – ability to identify a problem and provide a solution
  • Time management skills – ability to meet or beat deadlines
  • Negotiating skills – for buying out contracts

Candidate must have hands-on experience with a General Contractor and be familiar with all disciplines involved (civil, landscaping, structural, architectural, etc). Previous experience with commercial tenant improvement, hospitality, and mixed-use projects are a plus.
